About Us

We are Mary and Roberta, the Two Bees. We have both had long careers in the corporate world and now we are pursuing our passion in QUILTING. We met in a neighborhood quilt group and we soon discovered that we tend to gravitate toward the same kinds of fabrics and genre of quilts. Even after our quilt group dissolved, the two of us have continued our quilting endeavors and shared our fabric and quilt patterns with each other.

When you shop Two Bees Fabric, you will find the traditional 1800s/Civil War reproduction fabrics along with the 30's depression reproductions. Look for the French influenced floral and toile fabrics too, which are also a favorite of ours.

The hand written thank you note that was in my order when it arrived was wonderful. You asked if I was making a patriotic quilt. The American tribute is going to be made into an apron to where over a white dress for an event that is coming up in April. When my year is over then it will go into quilts. The red star confetti will go into quilts. I’m a member of the Order of Amaranth ( A Masonic group for women). I am making lap quilts for the veterans in our organization. I have 9 done and about 30 to go. I love your fabrics and I’m sure that I will be back to get more. I will send pics when using your fabric.

I am actually a folk artist and doll maker, but I do quilt a bit for myself when I get time!! I sell my work thru a showroom in Columbus, OH, and the buyers are always impressed with the fabrics......i.e. I use ONLY quilt shop fabrics for my dolls....no Walmart stuff here!!

I came upon your website in a Google search for some Civil War type prints, and now I am hooked!!! I just wish I had taken advantage of the free fat quarter offer for ALL the Tuesdays!! HA!! The busy old brain just couldn't remember it was Tuesday!! :)
